1. Who we are

Wayqast ("we", "us", "our") is an SMS broadcast platform operated as an independent service. Contact: [email protected].

2. Data we collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:

  • Account data — email address and password (via Supabase Auth) used to create and authenticate your account.
  • Contact data — phone numbers you add to your groups. Stored solely to deliver the SMS messages you send.
  • Message content — the text of messages you compose and send through the platform.
  • Gateway data — the phone number of the Android device you register as an SMS gateway.
  • Usage data — delivery status logs and timestamps associated with your messages.

3. How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to provide the Wayqast service:

  • Authenticating your account and enforcing access controls.
  • Routing SMS messages through your registered gateway phone.
  • Showing you real-time delivery status in your dashboard.
  • Responding to your support requests.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described in section 4.

4. Third-party services

  • Supabase — database and authentication provider. Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure. See Supabase Privacy Policy.
  • Wayqast Gateway — self-hosted SMS relay service used to forward messages through your gateway phone.

5. Data retention

Your account data and message history are retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing [email protected].

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

7. Cookies

Wayqast uses localStorage to remember your preferred language. No third-party tracking cookies are set.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
